Many of us want enough Jesus to get to heaven, but not so much that He disrupts our comfort, our control, or our plans.

In our busy culture, people are starving for personal encouragement. A short letter reminding a friend of God's love or thanking a coworker for their kindness can have a lasting impact is likely to have the greatest impact.

My favorite thing about my mom is the way she blesses people with her words. She started building others up when she was a young mom. Today, she has no memory, but God puts the words in her mouth, and she builds people up with the most amazing compliments.

One man’s life of sin produced generations of crime, poverty and brokenness. One man’s life of faith produced generations of leadership, service and blessings. The lesson I want to stress today is that, in our world of compromised morals and ethics, one righteous person can change the direction of life for many people around them.
